up nature’s budget for the year by the 10
May, and would need 2.8 planets. This is
unsustainable – we’re depleting natural
ecosystems at a faster rate than what can
be renewed. The solutions to reduce the EU’s
Ecological Footprint are at hand – but there
is only a narrow window for the EU to act.
