Coca-Cola European Partners invests in creation of circular economy for PET in Western Europe

Coca-Cola European Partners (CCEP), one of our main bottling partners in Europe and the world’s largest independent Coca-Cola bottler, took an important step on the journey towards 100% rPET for our PET bottles by announcing funding in recycling technology start-up, CuRe Technology. This funding underscores our commitment to a sustainable recovery and to creating a circular economy for our PET bottles.

The CuRe funding is being led by CCEP Ventures, CCEP’s innovation investment fund, and builds on existing strategic investments by The Coca-Cola Company to explore and support the scaling of depolymerisation recycling technologies to help make a circular economy for PET a reality.
